Job Title: SEO Manager
Job Summary:
The SEO Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing search engine optimization (SEO) strategies that increase the visibility of the company’s website in search engines, drive organic traffic, and improve conversion rates. This role requires a deep understanding of current SEO best practices, analytics, keyword strategies, and a passion for staying updated with the latest trends and algorithm changes in the digital marketing landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development:
o Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and rankings.
o Identify key SEO KPIs and regularly monitor and report on these metrics.
Keyword Research & Optimization:
o Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize
existing content.
o Work closely with content teams to implement keyword strategies in content creation.
On-Page Optimization:
o Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, to improve
search rankings.
o Ensure website content is aligned with SEO best practices, including proper use of
internal linking.
Off-Page SEO Management:
o Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the site’s authority.
o Manage relationships with external partners, bloggers, and other influencers to improve
off-site SEO.
Technical SEO:
o Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
on the website, including site structure, page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness,
and crawlability.
o Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix technical issues that could impact search
rankings.
Analytics & Reporting:
o Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track
site performance and user behavior.
o Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on SEO performance, traffic
trends, and areas for improvement.
Competitor Analysis:
o Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry
trends.
o Monitor competitor SEO strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration:
o Collaborate with the content, marketing, and development teams to ensure SEO best
practices are integrated into all digital marketing efforts.
Staying Updated:
o Stay current with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and
industry news.
o Experiment with new SEO techniques and tools to improve the company’s online
presence.
Qualification:
Education:
o Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a
related field.
Experience:
o 6 years+ of experience in SEO. Experience managing SEO for a large-scale website is a
plus.
